Hello,
I cannot launch the MS Dynamic 2017 demo version. it displays a message that it cannot connect to the server or server not receiving any request.Kindly assist

that could mean a bunch of different things. Check if the service tier is running, if MSSQLSERVER is running, if the account that runs the service tier has access to the database. Odd though, usually the full demo install takes care of it all. Try rebooting your computer. Try uninstalling and reinstalling it.
Check the NAV services ,check permissions on db

I suggest you to restart the NAV services and check again
Kindly confirm if the two services are running.

Does the Demo tier service is working? are you using the correct Port number? is there is any login account that you have to enter in the tier service login?
Also please check your DB rights/Permission! and make sure that you can see the DB.
