MSCRM tabled app Icons for custom entities

We are using the MSCRM tabled app. In the navigation pane of the app we have some custom entities. For these custom entities default icons are shown while for the default entities the usual icons are displayed.

In the webinterface the icons for the custom entities are shown. The icons are assigned to the entities via the option "Update icons" from the solution explorer.

What could be the cause this icon's are not shown on the app and how can this been fixed?

There are some known issues with tablet icons. They just don't support those still i believe
