What are other businesses using for Lead scoring/marketing Solution?

Hi All,

I want to know what other business out there are using for their Marketing that integrates well with Dynamics365. We currently use Mailchimp but the integration for Mailchimp and Dynamics365 is not great. We cannot record email activities for an automated Mailchimp campaign in D365 to score our leads. We've tried using Zapier to record that email activity information in dynamics but it doesn't work for automated campaigns. Power Automate cannot do that either.

We thought of using Dynamics365 for Marketing module which is perfect but the price of the module is so expensive because our number of marketing contacts are  high (50,000+).
I have come across clickdimension which seems reasonable in pricing and does what d365 Marketing can do.

So I just want to know what others are using to create lead scoring models based on the marketing campaign activities?

Thank you.

I have the same question (0)

We also used Mailchimp, Zapier and ON24 for webinars. We considered clickDimensions but felt this was too dated and with the investment MS are making into 365 marketing, it seems the better choice.

We basically migrated all those systems into 365M. When you consider the monthly quota cost which basically gives us unlimited email sendouts per month, plus the saving from shutting down the other systems, its not so expensive for a fully automated marketing system.

    Hi Chris

Thank you for explaining it so well, that really helps.

The licensing part of D365M is extremely confusing and so far whoever I have spoken to in Dynamics365 support team doesn’t seem to answer our questions clearly.

I understand you are using D365M so you may be able to answer.

We have about 50,000 marketing contacts so in that case what additional contact pack would we be buying?

The one that is sold in 5000 packs or the one that’s sold in 50,000 packs.

50,000 packs also has so many different prices.

Perhaps, if you could share your experience when buying additional contacts that will be useful.

Hi, were also a customer like yourself, the licensing is confusing and seems to change a bit. We got 12000 free and purchased 50K. So in total we have 62K with a Monthly Email limit of 620K. However we how now reached almost 100K contacts so we are in the process of adding an additional 50K pack to take us to 112K.  I would suggest taking the 50K pack and see how your quota evolves. They anyway give you a grace period if you exceed your quota limit.
