i did upgrade from gp 9 to 10 and once i opened the utility to upgrade reports and dictionaries i got the following error: Product 0 does not support upgrading from version 7.50.0.

Did your company data update correctly? Another thing you could do is to use Report Writer to Import modified reports from the old Reports.dic to a new one. If you backed up your customnizations using package files, you could also try importing the package files into the new Reports.dic.
Do look at the DB_Upgrade table as was suggested to you earlier.

I would also recommend you run the following queries against your DYNAMICS database:
SELECT * FROM DU000020
SELECT * FROM DB_Upgrade
If any of those results show old companies or modules still back at version 7.5 you'll need to address that my either removing or upgrading them to GP 9.0 before you can proceed.
I would start over. Somehow your databases are still indicating that you are running GP 7.5. Make sure your DSN are pointing to the correct databases.
