Synchronize Data Dictionary failed.

Hi all..

i have new environment.

and then, i try Synchronize Data Dictionary.

But, synchronize failed for table LedgerJournalTable.

Now, i can't create new field in this table.

Can you help me?

Hello PIL,

Database can't be synchronized util you resolve all the errors.

It seems accidently there is a null valued inserted for the field "JOURNALNUM" in "LEDGERJOURNALTABLE".

This field doesn't allow any null values that's why you're getting error. Correct this record first then put the table for synchronization.

Yes.
this is new environment, and all table is a null value.
So, i must inserted value and then i can synchronized database?

actually, if i try Synchronized in Data Dictionary.

failed on 2 table.

You can't insert JOURNALNUM value manually as it's a number sequence which would be automatically created on new record insertion. And if JOURNALNUM value is null so there is no use of this record, it would be better if you can delete this particular record. But make sure to check it won't effect any transactions.

Yes, i know, i can't insert manually value in LedgerJournalTable table. Because field JournalNum use number sequence.

So, what can i do for solve this Errors ?

Because, now, i don't have transaction in my new environment.

All table transaction is null value.

But, if i synchronize Data Dictionary, i get Error in table LedgerJournalTable.

And, i try for create new field in table LedgerJournalTable, i can't.

If you don't have transactions then delete those records from LedgerJournalTable which contain a null value for JournalNum. After that you can synchronize that table.

Please check for all the companies, as per snapshot you checked only for "dat" company which is a default ax company.

This is new environment, and i don't have a transaction in all module.

If you don't have any data in system, then you can give a try by

1) Delete LedgerJournalTable from SQL Server

2) Save and Synchronize individual table LedgerJournalTable from AOT

Solved.

Drop table in SQL and then synchronized again in axapta.
