Events: Change from virtual to in-person event

Hello

We have a client who has a specific request for event management. They want to create a webinar event and accept registrations as normal, however if the registration numbers get large (say 200+) they would like to change the event to an in-person event.

Can you think of a solution?

My questions are

1) Can we trigger something when attendees >200

2) If we change an event from type=webinar to type=conference, will attendees be notified?

Thanks
Pete

    Hi Pete,

There is an OOTB field called Registration count (msevtmgt_registrationcount) which calculates the count of the registrations.

It can be used as a condition to trigger a workflow to update the Event Type.

There will not be a notification if the type is changed.

However, it can be achieved easily if you're familiar with Flow (Power Automate).
