    Hi Employee,

You can add columns to your views by going to the default solution: Settings -> Customizations -> Customize the System

Expand the entity and views, where you want to make the changes.

Select the view (double click) and add the columns.

    Publish your changes.

Note that you will have to do this in your solution as well in your development environment, as these will get overwritten next time you import your managed solution.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi,

As per my knowledge you can not change managed solution view. You need to create one unmanaged solution and add the entities there and edit your saved view.

Please note if you change any view in unmanaged solution that means your view changing directly to default solutions which means deleting your managed solution the changes will be still there in the Dynamics CRM instance.

You can check  editing view reference here -

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Octa,

You can add fields to the view by following steps, Go to Setting-->Customization-->Customize the system--->From Entity Select your Entity and Expand-->Click View-->Select your view-->on right you will see option to Add column-->Save it --Publish it.

Please check below screenshot for adding fields in views.

Hi , That's expected behavior - you cannot modify the exiting view from advanced , rather you can actually create a copy of it or create one new query and save it.

if you need it shortly use the save as option else follow the above method for a permanent fix.

    hope this helps.

    Hello Rawish Kumar,

I am trying to add using advanced find.

but after adding i am not able to save that as Save button is disabled  rather the Save As button is Enabled.

    Hi,

do you want to add filter columns or simply to show data?

to add both you have to go to customization> entity on which the view is>expand entities> click on views> open the view you want to edit> on the right side you have option as "add columns" > click on that and select the column you want.

if to add a filter select "edit filter option instead

    hope this helps.
