CU 7 command line Parameters for installation

Hi,

I am new to Dynamics AX. We use a software deployment system to deploy AX Client to the Win7 clients. I need the command line parameter to install Data Import Export Framework. I was able to find the Parameters for CU6 update with axupdate.exe.

does anyone have a hint for me how to install the DIEF with command line parameter

    FYI, in CU7 DIEF is included in a single model file so you will not be able to install only DIEF using any parameter.

    what I mean is as part of CU7 you have one model file and when you install CU7 automatically DIEF will get installed

    Hi Nitesh,

    in the link you posted you will only find the normal axupdate paramters. There is no special paramter mentioned for the DIEF. I oopened a call with Mircrosoft and they are working on a CU7 commandline Parameter documention. In the mean time i found that the DIEF Client is a normal msi packackage inside the folders of CU7. I used this msi packacke with the normal setup parameters.
