Impact of increasing Workflow/Plugin WorkflowSettings.MaxDepth in CRM on premise instance

I am having dynamics CRM 8.2 on-premise instance and I want to increase WorkflowSettings.MaxDepth Property from max depth 8 to 120. What will be the impact on my machine RAM or CPU if I will increase it to 120?

Hi There,

Honestly - I have not seen people increasing it to that level. My assumption is that it will definitely have some adverse effect on the system ( the whole point of this property is to stop infinite loops because CRM cannot handle it)

The real question would be why do you want the crm system to cause 120 loops? you might want to find an alternative way if you really have that requirement.

Not a good idea surely, you should revisit your design. Look for other workaround to void these situations.
