Does test environment refresh affect marketing contacts quota/limits?

Hi, I'm analysing Dynamics 365 Marketing quotas and can't find what will happen during these two cases:

1) There are two environments: Sandbox and Production. In Sandbox there are zero used marketing contacts, in Production - there are marketing contacts. 

We're doing Sandbox environment refresh: copying all data from Production to Sandbox

What will happen with the quota in Sandbox environment? Are quotas' usage going to be equal on Production and Sandbox?  

2) There are two environments: Sandbox and Production. In Sandbox there are marketing contacts, on Production - there are none.

    Hi,

    According to the What's new of the Dynamics 365 Marketing July 2021 update, strict quota limits will not be enforced while the quota page is temporarily under construction.

    So there is currently no need to worry about Quota Limit related issues.

    There is also no interface within the app where the relevant data can be seen and no documentation on when this construction will be completed.
