Production Order Picking

Hi,

I'd like to create either an inventory pick or warehouse pick (where it will suggest lot number to be picked) for a released production order.  In my location; I set the following attributes:

  • Require Put-away: YES
  • Require Pick: YES
  • Bin Mandatory: YES
  • Pick Accoding to FEFO: YES
  • Under location; I setup two bins (i.e. RAWMAT, SHOPFLOOR). RAWMAT bin is where the consumption will be done according to FEFO.

If I click on Actions >> Warehouse >> Create Inventory Put-Away/Pick Movement; an error occur like  "There is nothing to create.".

If I click on Actions >> Warehouse >> Create Warehouse Pick; an error occur like "Nothing to handle."

I am following this tutorial Warehouse Pick for Production on Advanced Locations but cannot resolved the issue.

Need your help, thank you in advance.

I have the same question (0)

    Gecel,

Question, on the Production Order, on the line, if you click Line/Item Availability by BOM LEVEL and filtered to the Location you are trying to Pick from, is their Available Inventory?

Mine had none and got the same message you did. When I had the available inventory, my Pick worked.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Steve

    Gecel,

On the Location, check the box Require Shipment. You are not actually shipping anything from a Prod. Order but this is a requirement to have the Require Shipment flagged to use the Warehouse Pick on Production Order. Check the Box and then you can click Actions/Warehouse/Warehouse Pick.

If you DO NOT want to use the Require Shipment flag, to generate the Warehouse Pick, after creating the Production Order, follow these steps:

    1. Search for Inventory Picks

    2. Select Get Source Documents and then select Production Order

Production Orders components are pulled into the Pick. Perform Pick and enter actual picked quantity in Qty. Picked. Then Post.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Steve
