Purchase Quote Approval Workflow

I am building a purchase quote approval workflow and I am running into difficulties having the proper users notified. Once the purchase quote is approved, I would like a specific member to be notified of the approval so they can then take the purchase quote and process it. Is there any way I can do this?

Hi, as far as I know, there is no way to notify users other than initiators and approvers using standard Workflow.

You can try the new Power Automate templates, which are more flexible than the standard Workflow.

The key question is how you will specify who the specific approver is.

You can do this using the PurchaserCode field on the VendorCard and PurchaseQuote and the ApproverType of Salesperson/Purchaser.

You can also do this using Approval User Setup and send the approval to the requestor's manager using ApproverType of Approver.

You can also do this using a hard-coded user in the Workflow.

you could add a response by clicking the 3 dots, I don't have BC but it works the same.

the user who needs to get email needs to be set up on approver user set up. That user doesn't need to be requestor or approver.
