Hi, can we remove the existing email template type in the dropdown list?

I believe you can't. Just curious - why do you need that?
This is not possible.
This is based on the templatetypecode of the Email Template (template) entity.
This field cannot be modified.
You might be able to try and make changes to it using the SDK, but I would not recommend.
If Microsoft locked this field, there is probably a reason for it.
