Create Custom field for Project table

I am using Power Apps environment with Project Operations(Dynamics 365 apps).

As per below documentation, Maximum total custom fields for a project is 10. I have some requirement on BPF where i want to create more than 25 fields on project and add into Project stages(BPF). Is there any impact on business/solution if i create new custom fields on this cds Project entity?

    Vikas P I believe those custom fields mean the P4W UI custom fields mentioned here:

    In ProjOps, these don't exist yet so you should be able to add as many columns to the project table as you'd like. Gave it a shot in my env.

    We have implemented a "parent" record to hold additional fields we need and we auto generate that record when Project is created.  Not ideal but works for our purpose.  Would not work for your BPF though so I am curious how you solved this.
