GP 2010 R2 and SSRS on SQL 2008 SP1

Having an issue with GP 2010 R2 and deploying the SSRS reports on SQL 2008 SP1 where the Reporting Tools Setup page shows SRS as not implemented. Reading the documentation this should be a supported comfiguration but has me stumped; can anyone shed any light for me?
