Customer Statement sent in text format instead of PDF

We are using the Report Writer format of the Customer Statement (not Word Templates). When we send the Customer Statements for all Customers at once (100+), some Statements are sent in text format instead of PDF. The error report shows "successful". When we tested sending the statement for same customer using just one customer at a time. the Statement was sent as PDF without any changes in configuration. What could be causing this? is there limitation when sending many statements at once?

We are having the same issue.  Some will send as PDF and some as TXT.  Sometimes even running one customer will send as TXT one time and PDF another from the same computer.  This is odd and frustrating at the same time.  It also makes us look silly to our customers.

I had this problem after upgrading to GP 2013 a few years ago.  I opened a ticket and was given instructions to fix the problem.

If you can't open a ticket with Microsoft, send me a PM with your email address and I'll send you the word doc.  Use at your own risk.

One of the reason is due to missing record in SY04904. You can see answer in following post.

That solved the issues of text attachment, However I still get another random error "PDF file not created" for some customers and the statements are sent (text or PDF).

I wonder if it due to Adobe version. Officially only Adobe X is support for GP. The environment has Adobe DC.
