Does anyone know if the 2015 version of Self Service Benefits will have the ability for employees to login and setup their benefits like Business Portal currently can? Or is the functionality for SSB in 2015 just a way to view everything?
Thanks for any help.

This functionality requires that you map your GP user to a Windows Account and Employee ID. This helps ensure we are providing personal information to the correct user.
Employee Self Service was part of the 2013 R2 and 2015 releases. A new self service license became available around the 2015 release timeframe. This functionality enables users to log into the GP system and perform tasks that they accomplished using Business Portal previously.
Hi Mitch,
Did you ever had a chance to get a response from some where else ? At Convergence Microsoft showed that they added a new license type to GP called 'Self-Service User' for the replacement of the old HRSSMM in GP and BP.. This type of license will be cheaper than the Limited User license and allow read/write to GP for essential function (see this KB : support.microsoft.com/.../3029738 )
My problem currently is that I setup GP 2015 on a test bed system and tried to access the new Self-Service pages in GP, but keep getting a notification "You have not been assigned an Employee ID, please contact your system admin"...
Anyone here tried that ?
