RMA - Cancel "Received" Item

Hi.

I have a RMA that was "received" in already, but we now need to cancel that out because it was a mistake.  We are unable to delete that particular RMA.  If we cancel the packing slip - would that solve our issue?  This is showing up on our "shipped not invoice" report which is where we do not want.

    To add to this - actual inventory was effected with this order.  The item that is on the RMA did not actually come back which is why we want to delete.

    This is the error after trying to cancel packing slip.  Any solutions to this problem?  I think has happened because the disposition code was switched from "credit" to "credit only."

    Hi,

    Unfortunately, the screenshot is not visible. Can you save is as a picture and upload it through the rich formatting button?

    Can you also let us know in detail what transactions have already been recorded and share the respective inventory transactions? To me it is not clear what has been recorded, changed and canceled.

    The inventory for the 176 cases has been recorded since the packing slip was issued.  We cannot cancel the packing slip because of the first screenshot.

    Hi

    The error mentions an update conflict. Do you have multiple sessions open and try to correct the transaction in multiple sessions at the same time?

    Please try to log off from all your sessions, log in again and then try the correction again.

    I only had one session open.  I did log out and log back in, but it did not work.  Can the issue be the disposition code was changed from a "credit" to "credit only."

    Appreciate the help here.

    Hi Dan,

    Please try to post a packing slip in the same order with an opposite qty to offset the previous packing slip.
