Hi all my customer uses Dynamcis AX2012 R3 and they still have some old reports from Dynamics AX2009 which they don't want to replace.

When I try to print one of these reports by code to PDF file I get an error telling me the system cannot open the path: C://Program Files (x86)//Microsoft Dynamics AX//60//Client////appl//standard

Does anyone know this error because its strange to me.
I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

It might be due to an issue with the file path configuration. Here are some possible solutions:

    1. Verify Path Configuration: Double-check the file path configuration in Dynamics AX2012 R3. Ensure that the path specified for saving the PDF file is correct and accessible.

    2. Update Path Configuration: If the path is incorrect or inaccessible, update it to a valid and accessible location on the server or network where Dynamics AX2012 R3 is installed.

    3. Check Permissions: Ensure that the user or service account running the code has sufficient permissions to access and write files to the specified path. Adjust the permissions accordingly if necessary.

    4. Test Path Accessibility: Manually verify if the specified file path exists and can be accessed by navigating to it using File Explorer on the server where Dynamics AX2012 R3 is installed.

    Best regards,
    Kevin
