Sales order to manufacturing order

Hi all, can someone please provide me with the steps necessary to configure my GP system so that if a sales persons enters a sales order for any given product, and this product is not in stock or there's not enough, then if creates a manufacturing order for this item?

    Alvaro, there are quite a number of settings to consider.  May I suggest you read the Help files for setting up the SOP/MOP link and respond back with specific questions?
