Bom Journal "auto-report as finished" using Warehouse Management

Hy,

we have to create and post Report as finished Journals with some food products. To create production orders looks like to be to heavy. So we activate "auto report as finished" at Item master data engineering.

As we also need to use Warehouse Management Module we would like to configure Warehouse Module in this way to always use the same warehouse location for issue of bom items as product location where the product was sold.

As now Report as finished does not find a location inside bom journal for the bom lines and we can*t post with error "inventdim location must be specified for pos x".

Any ideas about this setup?

    Hy,

    as now MS is not working on the issue and recommended me to use ideas to ask other customers/partners for really need of the requirement.

    Hi Andreas,

    I understand you submit a support ticket to Support team for this issue, right?  If so, I think support engineer will follow up the issue with you on that ticket and maybe we are ok to close the current forum thread?

    No, it didn`t. MS confirmed that WHS is not optimized on this point but may be they will do it, Support case is still open. Also fixed location does not resolve. Thank you.

    check the warehouse default location and also the fixed location suggest by Rahul.

    you can assign fixed location to an item and use that to default on BOM lines
