Hello,
We have an installation of GP2013 SP2 that until last week was running fine. The client had a Dell Tech in who had to replace the server mainboard, update drivers and firmware and according to IT dept that is all. On Friday their Acct. Dept contacted me, they could not access the server for Management Reporter on port 4712. I remote accessed into the server and restarted the services which didn't help but when I disabled the server Windows firewall everything was fine. Over the weekend I checked for rules in the firewall and all necessary rules were created and active. I restarted the firewall but on Monday the workstations could not access Dynamics GP. I disabled Firewall and access was okay. I again checked firewall rules and everything is in place.
Anyone else experience anything similar to this recently... Windows update, Firmware upgrade last week maybe related to meltdown, Spectre, just guessing on this end.
thanks,

I have the same question (0)FYI, this link provided the info to resolve the issue. (still don't why it suddenly became an issue).
