    Hii Akshay,

It can be done by making the address primary in that specific warehouse address details. Once you make the address of the specific warehouse primary every time when you select the warehouse it will automatically fetch the address details.

    Thanks,

    Regards,

    Sayan

    Hi Sayan,

Thanks for your value added reply.

But I had requirement like where I need to find always warehouse address of type 'third party'.  User may set more than one address for a warehouse.

    Hii Akshay,

I.m sorry I couldn't get you, actually there's an option to specify the purpose of the warehouse as "Third Party" setting when you prepare a new address for a specific warehouse.

Users can set more than one address if they required but to auto-fetch the address in Invoice, Delivered forms you can only make one address "Primary".

In AX there are only three warehouse type available Default,Quarantine and Transit.

If any of the above points misses your query please feel free to ask, I'll try to help as per my knowledge.

    Thanks,

    Regards,

    Sayan

    Hi Sayan,

As you told we have option to specify the purpose of the warehouse as "Third Party" setting when you prepare a new address for a specific warehouse. And users can set more than one address if they required.

But what I need is, I need to find the warehouse address of type(purpose) "Third Party" even though this not a primary address. I am not getting how fetch the address and links between warehouse table and address related tables.

    Thanks,

    Akshay

    Hi Gautam,

I know these tables are used to store the address and warehouse but I am not getting the relation between these two tables. If possible can you help me understanding the relation between these tables. Recently  I am started working in 2012, So that's why I am not getting exact relation between these tables.

    Thanks for your response.

    Thanks,

    Akshay

    Hi Akshay,

Have a look at this blog axlogix.blogspot.com.au/.../dynamics-ax-2012-getting-contact.html

You can use the same approach to get address of any type for an entity.

You can download the global address book framework whitepaper from the below link to get more understanding of this framework. technet.microsoft.com/.../hh272867.aspx

    Hope this helps.
