Document Management not appearing in Dynamics

Hi,

I have created a document integration with an on-premise sharepoint site.  I can see the contents of the directory being created there, everything is working from the back-end.

The document integration has been enabled on the account entity.

However, when I go to the account entity I see no link for Document Management.

Even though accounts are enabled for Document Management.  I did try unchecking and re-checking again and this had no impact.

Thank you

    Hi Greg,

    Thank you for your question.

Normally when the sharepoint integration is added to the CRM it's supposed to appears out of the box button on the entities to access the documents as you can see on the screenshot below:

Can you confirm that the entity "Documents" are available in the Navigation Section of the Form? If so, can you check the layers of this form on your environment? You might have a different solution overriding the desired behavior.

I also would like to share with you some information't that can be relevant for you:

    - The first one is a possible alternative to add the grid to the form performing changes to the XML file:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/model-driven-apps/add-documents-tab-entity-main-form

    - The second one is a documentation about possible known issues related with the document management:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/doc-management-known-issues#components-from-an-iframe

    Best Regards.

    Hi,

Thank you for the informative response.

I don't see "Document Management" in our navigation which I think is part of the problem.  I did try removing "Document Management" from the entity this morning and republishing and it did not go back.

How do I check the solution layers to see if something is being blocked out.

Also, just for reference, we are using Dynamics on-premise v 9.0.6.9

    Thank you for your help.

    Hi Greg,

    Thank you for your reply.

Regarding the "Document Management" Tab, you should be able to enable it and add it to the entity following the documentation below:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/enable-sharepoint-document-management-specific-entities

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/model-driven-apps/add-documents-tab-entity-main-form

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/portals/manage-sharepoint-documents

In case you are not able to achieve that, we would like to advise you to raise a support ticket, in order to we can look to your specific environment and understand what is causing the issue.

Related with the Solution Layers, unfortunately through the UI is not available for 9.0 only after 9.1, so at the moment it's not possible to check solution layers on UI for OnPremise Environments, however you can check that solution layers through the Database.

Please let us know if you have further questions.

    Best Regards.
