Hi, 

We have an online 365 but we wanted to just go to on premise. Do we need to buy another license for on premise? if not, how can we get the product key from our online instance  to use it for the installation of on premise

    Hi Jane,

    Do you have a Microsoft Sales Rep that you work with, or have you registered online directly for your instance?

    Microsoft Dynamics CRM has something called a Dual Rights Usage licenses. This means that any user that has a license for one environment can get that same license in the other.

    Hi,

    Agree with Aric. Firstly you need to get the license key and then finish the migration operation.

    If you still could not get the license key in the mentioned 5 ways blog Aric shared. You could refer to your regional Billing Team for support. The MS Billing Team or Partner Benefit Team will help you get the license key which also depends on whether you access the license with partner benefit.
