Pending Send. Duplicate Emails.

I've experienced a couple of incidents during bulk mailouts. CRM will process a few of the emails normally, then the rest will get stuck on pending send. The problem is that I can see from our Fusemail system that all the emails have gone out.  But CRM doesn't seem to be aware that the emails have been sent, the email activities remain on pending send endlessly re-trying and spamming our customers with duplicate mail.

I'm wondering if anyone has experienced similar behaviour and how they resolved it.

We haven't had any other mail related problems and I've been unable to replicate the incident.

    I've experienced this issue too with a workflow. At one point, mails from this workflow were all "Pending Send" and were sent every 5 minutes. I resolved the issue by creating another Email Server Profile and re-assigning the mailbox to this profile.

    I have the same issue with my on premise 2015 CRM.

    the CRM is spamming our users email boxes.

    Please can you provide us more details on how did you resolve the probleme?

    Hi,

    I created another Email Server Profile with exactly the same parameters (under Settings => Email configuration => Email Server Profiles)

    Then assigned the mailbox to the newly created profile (in the mailbox => Synchronization Method => Server Profile)

    I'm working with an Exchange Server but this issue doesn't seem to be related to the type of mail server you are using.

    Besides, I upgraded to CRM 2016 and the issue has not occurred again so far

    I hope you'll find a fix

    which mailbox did you assigned to the newly created profile ?

    is the mail box wich send the workflow notifications ??

    Yes exactly, the mailbox used in the workflow that keeps sending emails needs to be reassigned to the newly created profile.
