Parts pricing change - glitch

Good morning,

We are experiencing an issue with parts pricing.  Let's say we have a service work order entered with 5 parts listed at $100 each.  If either my service or parts team goes back into the order to make a change (not to pricing, but to enter a note, change hours, description of work) sometimes.....some of the parts pricing changes from what was saved on the order.

Is anyone else experiencing this?  Do we know why?

This issue might be related to how Business Central recalculates pricing when changes are made to a work order. One possible cause is automatic price updates based on predefined rules or missing price locks on the order. You may want to check if any pricing rules or automatic updates are affecting the parts pricing unexpectedly. Maybe this will give you a hint to resolve your issue. If this helps, please mark this answer as verified.

Looks like the price has been recalculated.
It may take some customization to stop the price from recalculating, and it is recommended that you work this out with your partner.

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.
