Print Preview from Outlook Record. CRM 2013

Since the upgrade to  CRM 2013 the Print Preview functionality in Outlook has disappeared. This was available when opening an Entity in the Outlook client before and is available in the web version. Selecting Print from within Print Preview would then print the full entity record details to the printer even if it went over 2 - 3 pages.  

CTRL P and Print prints the portion of the entity form that is visible at the time CTRL P was clicked. right click and Quick Print on a record from a view (or File Print) produces an odd looking print out in a list format.

    I am faced with the same issue.  I have talked to Microsoft support and all they said is that I can submit a recomendation for the development team.  I submited a product suggestion.  You can submit or vote.

    Hi Rich,

    I confirm that the removal from the Print Preview functionality in Outlook was intended and is by design. The best and recommended option to print data on the form would be to export the data to excel and print it from there, or to build a report to show this data. If you find that the options don’t meet your business needs as good as the Print Preview functionality, you can submit a new Product Suggestion to the Microsoft development community as advised by Bilal through the link below connect.microsoft.com/dynamicssuggestions  or vote for his suggestion.

    Have you tried adding a button to open the print preview in a new window?

    If you are using the web version, go to Settings. It's on the top right-hand side of the screen, next to your login id (the icon looks like a gear).

    Select Print Preview, and then you can view the open record (form) in the print preview window, then print.
