MSCRM2011 Rollup 6 & 7 installation Outlook

Hi All,

I have few queries in MSCRM 2011 Rollup's installation for outlook 2003 and 2007:

1. Is there any separate Roll up's needs to install in client machine also in each and every Rollup release. Or is it enough to install Rollup in servers?

2. If we want to install Rollup 6 and 7 in outlook cilent machine , is it enough to install Rollup 7 or first we have install Rollup6 and then we need to install Rollup7? (I.e the rollup's are cumulative or not?)

Please help me in this regard.

My name is Andrés, i'm glad to help you. Related with your questions:

1. You need to install your UR in your Workstation and in your Server too. Two installations.

2. The prerequisites to install UR7 is to have UR6. Then yes, you need to install first of all UR6.

We have in this momento UR8 available for you, and remember to do a Backup before apply your updates. This for best practices.
