Navigation show View instead of a table?

Posted on by 50

I would like to update my navigation to show two different contact types instead of just contact, one for students and the other for faculty. Can this be done? When I add a subarea to my navigation I get the choice of table, but not view.  It would be nice if each showed their respective view and then the correct form when they open it. I feel like it might be confusing to the user if they had to choose which view and form they wanted to see.

Thank you! Is there anyway it would not open it in a new tab/window?

You can do this by specifying the URL of the view within the sitemap instead of selecting the entity itself:

This, however, would open the view in a new tab/window!
