Creating a Weekly Sales order for a customer

Hi,

One of the things our customer is looking for is a repeat order (seperate sales order, for stock) for one of their sites we deliver to.  Currently we have to create and key the order for each week. Is there a repeat/recurring stock order function that we can use? I was looking at the option of using subscription billing, but that does not have a weekly option in there (only daily, monthly etc).

I know there is the copy order function, but i still feel this is a bit manual.

Is there some sort of template that can be setup to manage recurring sales order creation ?

Cheers

    Hi,

If your not able to use subscription billing, your limited with option. You need to look for customization for your scenario, there is no standard solution/work around.

    Hi,
Does your quantity on the order and/or any other details change every week, or does everything remains the same?

    Hi,

The quantities and price will stay the same weekly.

    Thanks

    Hi,
There are plenty of options without hardcore development.
    1) Use Power automate Flows (using Power Platform). Schedule it to run every week and let it run an OData call using a data entity that can create a sales order.
    2) Use the Logic App to call/consume the data entity (more or less the same as #1).
    3) Use the new Sales Order Processing Agent created by FastTrack.

    Hello,

The subscription module doesn't manage the weekly schedule.

    Thank you,
    Giorgio

Thanks Giorgio. However, i need to create the subscription billing sales order on a weekly basis, but it does not have a weekly option. I am not sure what you mean by filtering dates? Can you provide an example.

Thanks Giorgio, i am just seeing your reply now confirming subscription billing does not support the weekly schedule therefore this would not meet out requirement.

    Cheers

    Hello,

However, I tried the Generate Invoice batch, and it looks like the forms don't receive the formula. You can try it; I hope it helps.

    Thank you,
    Giorgio
