How do I handle the error user reconciling item????

Please help, recently running the INVENTORY- UTILITIES-RECONCILE, that computer was powered off and now everybody is unable to work in GP. A pop-up appears "You cannot enter transactions: another user is reconciling item quantities". What should I do??????

    Try going into the SQL tempdb database and with no one in gp delete all records out of the DEX_LOCK and DEX_SESSIONS table and then go into the DYNAMCIS database and delete all records in the ACTIVITY table.

    I have emptied all tables DEX_LOCK, DEX_SESSIONS and ACTIVITY however the error mesage is still popping up when trying to do any transaction. What's next, please?

    Check if table sy00800 has record for Reconcile process.

    Select * from SY00800 where TRXSOURC='Reconcile'

    Run this query against Dynamics database.

    If record exists, delete it

    delete from SY00800 where TRXSOURC='Reconcile'

    I have checked the Application database but cannot find that table- where should this be???

    It is in the DYNAMICS database. It is the Batch Activity table. It sounds like you have a bogus reconcile batch.

    We are fine now! The user initiating the process just simply had to signback on.
