Dynamics 365 CRM Geo Migration

Hello,
 
I have a concerning question on the Dynamics 365 CRM Geo Migration. There is this customer we have recently engaged with that wants to perform a tenant migration from India (Asia Region) to tenant in US (NA Region) for CRM.
 
After a checking the links I found Geo-to-Geo Migrations
 
However it is mentioned "Geo migrations are restricted into or out of OCE or IND". So does this means we cannot move the tenant or the enviroment from OCE (Oceania) and IND (India) geographies. 
  • If it is not possible then what alternative do we have for the migration. 
  • If it is possible what is the process.

    I haven't had this issue since I work mostly with European customers, and I'm currently working at an European end user.
    Regardless, it's an interesting question...
     
    Yes, that is kind of what I'm reading. Some migration scenarios are not supported, possible because there is not feature parity between IND/OCE and the rest of the geo regions.
    My advice is to raise a ticket to get precise details from Microsoft.
     
    Here is what I would do in this scenario - Also an opportunity to get rid of bad data:
    • Provision new environment in the region of choice.
    • Do a complete solution transfer from OLD PROD to the NEW PROD.
    • Use Azure Data Factory to migrate relevant tables.
    • Keep old environment for audit history.
