Object Metadata Error

(0) ShareShare
ReportReport
Posted on by 962

I upgraded just upgraded from nav 2009r2 to nav 2013.

When I try to open the G/L Entry table or General Ledger Entries page I get this error:

"The metadata of table 17 is invalid.

I have tried compiling the objects and then run Build Server Application Objects from the tools menu.

I have also cleared  the object metadata record for table 17 and then recompiled again.

But all of them did not solve the problem. Do you any Ideas about this one?

Are you a super user (just to check whether you have permissions of Object Metadata table).

Please try by stopping the service and starting again.

    Hi,

You may try removing the entry from Object Meta Data and try to build the server application objects  and try.  Even I had the same issue and it worked by this way.

Try to delete the object metadata for both table and page, also delete any metadata related to these objects from User Metatada, Page Data Personolization.

    Try following steps.

    1. Delete object metadata for the tables and page.

    2. Delete user Metadata for the pages.

    3. Restart the service instance.

    4. Compile all objects

    5. Restart the service instance.
