Income Statement by product line family

We have income statement row format setup and column layout also has been setup by monthly basis (from January to December months). However, we want to show the Tree as "product line'. For example: in our segment 4 in GL account string represent our product line family.

How can I build the tree as product line: Will that be ???-&&&&&&-???-???-011-??? (we have 6 segments in our GL account string. If 011 represents product A in segment 5). Is this correct

I would to show the the report as this.

Income Statement

Revenue: January Feb. March

Product A $10000 $20000 $30000

Product B $ 300000 $343000 $565650

This is correct, you can add this segment to your COA and link the group inventory account to each product group in your item class setup, then do the reporting in FRx, this will not be a hard task to be implemented.

Is this for Microsoft Dynamics GP?
