I'm trying to remove assistant from social pane by using the description in the link below. But still not managing to do it. ist still show Assistant in the Social Pane.

There is no supported way to hide this tab.
You may try to do unsupported way ,have a look below references -
mydynamicsmscrm.wordpress.com/.../hide-assistant-tab-from-social-pane-dynamics-365
Think twice before doing unsupported customization , this changes may not work after upgrade.
