I found the TK on Article ID: 2655682 regarding budget amounts not displaying for Management Reporter (FRX) because the GL00201 has a 0 in the YEAR1 field and this is exactly what we found but the customer wants to know WHY this occurs. Is there a Problem Report on this or did the customer do something incorrectly that this has occurred. If anyone has any further details as to WHY it occurs, it would be appreciated.

Hi Doreen, we faced similar issues and had to delete the entries in the table with a YEAR1 field containing either a 0 value or no value at all...
How do you create your budget ? do you use the import utility from Excel in GP ?

There are a few different methods in GP to create a budget. I believe creating a budget based on a date range rather than a fiscal year will set the YEAR1 column to zero. You may want to try creating budgets based on a fiscal year instead to see if that works fine. Otherwise you can always update the table as the KB states. I don't believe GP looks at this column extensively, where MR needs a base year.
