Copy Paste Images in Email body

Hi ,

we have CRM 2013 on premise ..users are requesting for flexibility of copy / pasting of images in email body .

tried copy pasting into email body but it's not working.

is there any way we can copy paste images in email body in CRM.

Note: Say in one blog need to save image as html and open it in IE and copy paste is email body .it's showing in email body correctly , but after sending emails the receipts are not able to see the image it's coming as "x" cross mark.

    Thanks for your reply Rajkumar. above link doesn't meet my requirement ..it's saying images needs to be hosted somewhere.

    users are requesting the flexibility of copying any image in email body (it was not hosted any where)

    Possibly upgrade to SP1 R2 if you're not already on it.

    You can use the SDK, create a plugin, and replace a "placeholder" with the image tag. You can also have a base64 string that will produce an embedded image but it is not recommended in CRM. What we did is have image locations stored in CRM and then replace the url with the url specified in CRM.

    Another alternative is to update the image as an annotation and then use the url of the uploaded file. either way you would need to change the markup of the email before it gets send.

    Hi, this is a common need within Dynamics CRM and we have the solution!

    We have an email editor that can easily insert images etc into the email/email template body!
