How to get value of an attribute that is not in form

Hi,

I am wondering if we can get the value of an attribute in javascript if the field is not in form. The field is in the entity. It is not added to the form. How to get the value of the field in javascript in dynamics 365 version 9.0

    what you can do is

    add the field to the form.

    + make it invisible.

    Hi ,

    If you are using Xrm library to retrieve data in javascript then you can only retrieve data of that fields which is on form.

    If you want to retrieve data of that fields which is not on form then you need to use javascript services such as odata, soaplogger or webapi.

    Hi ,

    You can create a section in the form where you add all the fields  which you don't need to show but need the value using scripts and make the section visible off  , this is one workaround you can say.
