Incident title field/attribute

We are using Dynamics 365 on-premise - we have recently patched our servers to version 9.1.39 August 2025 update.  We have found that suddenly we cannot enter brackets () in the incident title standard field despite being able to do this for years.  Is this a bug or an enhancement?  Dynamics 365 Online appears to allow it in the equivalent field. I have seen that 9.1.40 has now been released, can anyone confirm if it is fixed in that version?
