Hi All,
I have setup that a Batch Number is generated when a Production Batch Order is generated. Recently users have saw that the Batch Number is not generated for some Batch Orders.
Can anyone explain why this may be happening.

Hi Rasl,
You only have one number group? Can you find a pattern when the batch number is created or not? If it has been setup on all items, it should work. Can you tell if all production orders are created and released the same way?

The number group is setup to use Date and Lot ID as the batch number.
That is correct, on each released product a number group is attached.
Can you explain how you did setup the number groups? Are the number groups setup on all released products which should have the batch number?
