We have a client who has come across an issue with lot expired inventory. If he tries to transact the inventory through Order Management, then he gets warnings and is blocked from selling the stock. However, there don't appear to be the same controls built around inventory. He can transfer and adjust the expired lot in the inventory screens, and doesn't get any messages regarding expiry. Likewise if he issues the inventory to a project, he doesn't get warned about the expired items.
Has anyone else come across a similar problem? Is there supposed to be any functionality around expired items and inventory, or is it only available through order management? Any insight would be great.
