Reports Missing After PC Refresh

Posted on by 135

I have an RMS 2.0 user who got a new PC and now when they log into RMS Manager, their reports are missing. How do I copy the reports to the new PC from the old PC which had RMS 2.0 installed?

If this is a workstation on a network, we set up to only have reports on the Server machine.  Makes things easier to update/change Custom/Memorized Reports.

I would look how the old machine was setup: Admin | File | Configuration | Paths and Template tabs

Just copy the Report folder from your Old PC to the New PC. Possible Path of the report Folder is below mentioned.

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Retail Management System\Headquarters Manager/Reports

Copy full Reports folder and replace the New one.

    Thanks

    Hi there.

OK, the RMS reports are in the installation path (if not changed, double check the configuration in RMS SO / HQ Administrator), normally: "C:\....\Microsoft Retail Management System\Store Operations\Reports\".

Check the old PC and search for the reports (*.QRP files), copy the customized or memorized reports (the ones that start with CUSTOM or MEMORIZED) and  just copy the files on the new PC, in the installation folder...

Next time they open the Manager, the reports should be there...

    Regards, A.
