This article guides how to change a field property e.g. size of a multiline text/memo field:

Ideally you would create a separate solution where you would make your customizations (changes).
Also on the customizations of that entity you can go in to the main form and change the number of rows shown on the form for this multiline text field:
Open the field properties using system customization and then check if you can increase the max length mentioned there.
