Hi All

After acquiring the fixed asset into one asset class, is it possible to transfer the balance sheet amounts into another asset class? Example - Intial acquisition into motor vehicles and this dev=bits MV BS account, later transfer to Plant and Equipment. Now the system should CR MV account and DR Plat and Equipment account

Thanks

You can post Acquisition adjustment if that is what you are looking for.

It would be easier to do that if there is no depreciation posted on the fixed asset.

And you have some functions to reclassify fixed assets that might be useful in your scenario.
