How set priority for Replenishment work

Hi All, I have three work templates for Replenishments A, B and C. All are using min/max replenishment type. Template A contains item which should be priority 1 followed by B and C. I need to assign priority so that replenishment happens as per set priority and on the mobile device they should appear in the priority sequence.

Under work template we have to assign work priority but what else setup do I need to achieve this?

How set priority for Replenishment work
    Hi,
Once work priority is set on the work template and its filtering items the next step is to work on the mobile menu items
Option 1 - Use work list and use the query sorting to sort work on work priority. This way work with priority 1 are shown earlier than priority 2 and so on.
Now when you go to mobile device

Option 2 - Use system directed work and use the query to sort based on work priority.

Now when you login in the mobile device system will first ask worker to work on all priority work 1 and only after all priority 1 work are finished priority 2 are given and so on. This option is better for strict implementation of priority but lacks flexibility and overview.
Below is the pick location of work with priority 1.

Option 3 - You can use grouping option. This way worker gets a chance to enter the priority of work he enters to work and after that system assigns all the work.

How set priority for Replenishment work
    Good day,

I believe the best way to achieve that is by setting up product filter codes.

You can connect a product filter code to a released product

Three work templates for replenishment with the work priority need to be configured

On each work template you need to set up query and a join to the warehouse item number

Dynamics will automatically apply the priority during the work creation.

    Best regards,
    Laurens van der Tang

How set priority for Replenishment work
Hi there! Good morning, evening, or afternoon - depending on where you are :) Hope you are well today!

    • To set up the priority-based replenishment sequence and ensure it appears correctly on the mobile device, follow these steps in Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management:
    • 1. Assign Work Priorities in Work Templates
      • You’ve already assigned work priorities in the work templates (A, B, and C). Make sure the priority values reflect the desired order (e.g., A = 1, B = 2, C = 3). Lower numbers represent higher priority.
    • 2. Configure Location Directives
      • Ensure location directives are correctly set up for the replenishment process. The location directives determine which inventory locations are replenished, and they need to align with the work templates.
      • Check that the “Sequence Number” in location directives matches the replenishment priority you’ve set for each template.
    • 3. Set Up Mobile Device Menu Items
      • In Warehouse Management > Setup > Mobile Device > Mobile Device Menu Items, ensure the menu item associated with replenishments points to the correct work templates.
      • Enable sorting based on Work Priority for the mobile device setup. This ensures that work appears in the specified priority order.
    • 4. Enable Work Priority Sorting in Mobile Device
      • Go to Warehouse Management > Setup > Work > Work User Setup for the relevant users.
      • Enable sorting of work based on Work Priority. This ensures that work assigned through the mobile device appears in the defined sequence.
    • 5. Test the Setup
      • Create test scenarios with replenishment requirements for items in templates A, B, and C.
      • Verify on the mobile device that work appears in the correct priority order (Template A first, then B, and finally C).
    • 6. Additional Configuration (if needed)
      • If the system isn’t following the expected order, check the Wave Templates if you’re using waves to process work. Make sure the wave processing sequence is configured to respect work priority.
