How to retrieve contacts which are members of multiple marketing lists?

Posted on by 21

Is it possible to build a view which only returns the contacts that are part of the same two marketing lists?

Example:

Contact A is member of list 1 and list 2, Contact B is member of list 1 only. Contact C is member of list 2 only. Filter should only return Contact A.

I tried this but it's not working

Any ideas welcome

I would say try the "Keep all" option.

I added Contact A and Contact B to list 3

Then I build this evaluation query:

When executing the query, I've to select "keep only seleced", right?

Imagine that you have already copied all the members from List1 to the destination list.

Now run the Evaluation Query - Contacts that are members of List 2. Do you have issues building that query?

Thanks for your feedback. For your second approach, can you please show me how the query for member evaluation should look like? I don't get it how to build this condition "leave members that belong to Member List 2 and Member List 1 the same time"

    Hello,

Unfortunately, it's not possible to build the view you want to get using Advanced Find but there are 2 options:

    1. Usage of XrmToolBox and View Designer plugin and use the following FetchXml query in it:

    2. No-code and no-tool way. You can use 3-rd marketing list for this purpose:

    • Copy your Marketing List 1 to newly created Marketing List 3 (including members).
    • User "Evaluate Members based on Query" functionality to leave members that belong to Member List 2 and Member List 1 the same time.
