GP 10 on Windows 8.1 Surface pro 3

I have a client who is looking to install GP 10 SP 5 on Windows 8.1 Surface pro 3. I don't have any experience with this. I have researched and cannot find any information related to this and if it is even supported.

    Sorry, only GP 2010 SP3 or later is compatible. Now might be a good time to talk to them about an upgrade :-)

    The best solution would be to work out some kind of VPN/RDP solution so they could connect to an environment that is currently running GP 10.0 from their Surface.
