Dear community,

in my scenario a purchase order is created and many lines are added with different items with different lead times.

As i would like to send my supplier a PO with a unified request receipt date i am using the header to line logic to update it.

For items that have a longer lead time than the set requested receipt date, the date is not updated, but set to today's date + delivery time.
Is there a setting that allows me to update all items to the date which I set in the Header?

Normally when you update a date on the purchase order header, a popup appears whether you want to update the date also on the lines:

Does this popup appear in your case?

Hello Laurens,

When I enter a requested receipt date 19.11.2024 the pop up for header 2 line Update appears. Only in Pos 1 updates to the requested date, because lead time of Pos 2 is higher than the entered requested receipt date

Hello Sander,

The only way is to update position 2 is manually. I've encountered the same issue, and I think it is a limitation of the system. What is the source for the lead time in your case?

My customer is using trade agreements and when you set the parameter 'Disregard leadtime' to 'Yes', the lead time being ignored when you update the requested date on the purchase order header. But, the disadvantage is that the lead time will be also ignored by MRP...

I've raised a ticket to Microsoft and Microsoft is investigating the issue.

the customer is useing the purchase lead time from default order settings which is alway considered.

Seems like this is standard and can not be adjusted within the standard product.
