I have a report developed in Excel 2010 that pulls data from the PA01201 (Project Master) and PA10001 (Timesheet Detail) in an attempt to detail by employee category the number of hours each "Team" spent on a given open project. What I have found is that in three (3) of the open projects the Project Master does not reflect that any hours have been posted to the project, yet the timesheet detail file shows that employee timesheet hourly transactions exist for the project. All other open projects appear as expected and in agreement with the details.
We utilize PDK as our Time Recording application, which is fully integrated into Dynamics GP. The only thing in common with the three projects is that time was transferred out to another project after posting the original timesheet. The tramsferred time appears in the details and project master summary record associated with the new project as expected, and the offset records appear in the transaction details for the original project, however the remaining hours charged do not appear in the project master.
Can anyone tell me how this could happen? Is it something we did incorrectly in the transaction transfer adjustment? Is there any way to "fix" the Project master to reflect these amounts properly? Thank you!
